2 million euros in aid
Calp town hall's 2023 budget includes several aid lines totaling almost €2 million:
- Aid for main residence: aid for the payment of IBI, aimed at retired people, pensioners under 65, as well as long-term unemployed. Budget: €40,000.
- Aid for the purchase of textbooks and didactic material: aimed at bachillerato and vocational education and training students in the I.E.S. Ifach of Calp. Budget: 4.448,72 €. - University transport grants: for students in bachillerato, vocational education and training, professional artistic education, higher artistic education, undergraduate, masters’ and doctorate university education and distance university education, UNED and ON-LINE in official public, subsidised or private centres. Budget: €150,000.
- Bono Baby: aid of up to €500 for the purchase of basic children's products, childcare, pharmacy and parapharmacy, baby food, etc. purchased in local shops. Budget: €20,000.
- Old town façade restoration plan with two lines: one to cover the costs of rehabilitation of façades in the old town and collective buildings in the municipality and another for those actions that include the removal or concealment of external elements that do not comply with the planning such us external wiring, air conditioning equipment, antennas, etc. Budget: €70,000.
- Aid for sport, aimed at local sports clubs and entities with two lines: one for participation in official sports competitions and the promotion of local grassroots sport and the other for the organisation of sporting events. Budget: 275,000 €.
- Local Employment Plan, this will be the third edition, which last year was endowed with more than one million euros and offered a total of 71 jobs with different professional categories for eight months.
The announcement of these different aids will be made public through the website www.calp.es and municipal social networks with a reasonable period for the submission of applications.
