Marina Alta Costa Blanca Floral Club
OUR next demonstration is on Thursday, February 23, when we look forward to welcoming Kathy Stangaard on her first visit to our club. Kathy, who has been with NAFAS for 18 years, is a UK national demonstrator and speaker, an area judge, and a teacher. She has also been on the speaker's committee and is now chairman of The Flower Arranger magazine editorial. A busy lady with her demonstrating and NAFAS commitments, we are delighted that she has found time in her hectic schedule to come and demonstrate for us, and her title is Connections. One of our committee members is a friend of Kathy, and she tells us that not only is our guest a very talented demonstrator, but she has a great sense of humour and is a lot of fun.
So do come along and join us for an afternoon of floral fantasy, spiced up with humour and fun. Kathy’s floral commitments are such that she is flying in on Wednesday, demonstrating for us on Thursday afternoon and then flying back to the UK that evening. So please do come along and give her a really warm Costa Blanca welcome.
Our flowers are supplied by Paichi garden centre, and the exhibits will be raffled at the end of the afternoon.
The doors open at 14.15 and we ask everyone to be seated promptly for the demonstration at 15.00. Entrance for members is €7 and for visitors €10. We meet in The Salon de Actos, La Senieta, Moraira, which is adjacent to the large free car park. All welcome.
