Look out for forthcoming U3A Denia events

COFFEE morning on April 22 at Bar El Hollandes Errante, 10.30-12.30. You will be offered a free coffee and entertainment from the Denia U3A Guitar Group. The following coffee morning will be May 6. This date might change due to the Coronation.

There will be a reserved table for new members to meet the committee and the opportunity for people to pay their subscription and for any future social event or travel trip. People can pay by cash or card.

The coffee morning is a very popular fortnightly event and gives members the chance to catch up with each other, meet new members and keep updated on groups, events and trips. We look forward to seeing you.

The Quiz Group meets on the last Wednesday of every month at Restaurant DeniArros, 18.30 for 19.00. Cost is €16.50 per person for a fun night out with tapas and wine (1/2 bottle), beer or soft drinks, and prizes for the winning teams. You don't need to have a team to book your place - any single people or couples will be seated with other members to make up teams of four, five or six.

The Coronation!

We are celebrating in style with flags and patriotic paraphanalia on Sunday, May 7 at La Bresca in El Poblets. By popular request we are having a hog roast again while we listen and dance to live music from singer Woody.

Travel Group

There is a trip to Elche on Friday, May 12. You will have received details from Ginny. This trip is on a ‘first come gets a place’ basis, so please book early.
