Angels foil suicide bid

Costa Blanca News (North Edition) - - NEWS -

A suicidal woman was talked out of throwing herself off a cliff at Jávea by two 20-yearold tourists who begged her to think again. Described as heroes, the two women arrived at a viewpoint on Cap de Sant Antoni to find a distraught woman about to jump. The women later told police she was already on the other side of safety fencing and appeared ready to end her life – but they were able to talk to her and convince her to reconsider and step back from the edge. Few details of the incident have been released, but police later confirmed the heroic actions of the two visitors, who were on holiday from Valencia.
