Vil­la­joyosa hos­pi­tal needs a trans­la­tor

Vil­la­joyosa's Ma­rina Baixa hos­pi­tal ur­gently needs trans­la­tors. One of their trans­la­tors who spoke nine lan­guages re­tired a few months ago. Any­body in­ter­ested in ap­ply­ing must speak Span­ish, Va­len­cian, English and French and have rel­e­vant lan­guage cer­tifi­cates to prove this. Any other lan­guage is an added bonus. Ap­pli­ca­tions are to be sent to c_ad­min­is­tra­ti­va_dsmb The hos­pi­tal first started to pro­vide trans­la­tors in 1996, as ap­prox­i­mately 35% of pa­tients were for­eign. Cur­rently, the hos­pi­tal says their trans­la­tors do around 6,000 trans­la­tions a year. Un­for­tu­nately, lo­cal health cen­tres do not pro­vide this ser­vice.
