To­day, is the first day of Benidorm's fiestas, so here is the full pro­gramme of events.

Don't miss the fancy dress pa­rade, the floats pa­rade or the fan­tas­tic fire­works on Wed­nes­day night!

FRI­DAY, NOVEM­BER 9

18.00: Switch on of the fiestas streets lights in Avda Mar­tinez Ale­jos.

19.00: In­au­gu­ra­tion of the fiestas' fair­ground at re­duced prices.

22.30: Big 'Penyas' pa­rade from C/ Ru­faza.

SATUR­DAY, NOVEM­BER 10

10.00: Holy mass

11.45: Prayers sung at San Jaime & Santa Ana churches.

12.00: Aerial Bom­bard­ment of fire­works all over town.

12.15: Colour­ful mu­si­cal pa­rade around Benidorm's streets.

13.00: Mu­sic bands pa­rade at the Town Hall Square.

17.00: Re-en­act­ment of the dis­cov­ery of the 'Vir­gen del Sufra­gio' on Poniente Beach.

18.30: Solemn pro­ces­sion from Par­que de Elche to the Plaza San Jaime and flower of­fer­ing. Of­fi­cial start of the fiestas speech fol­lowed by the spec­tac­u­lar fire­works dis­play on the beach, from Pl Castel­lar.

23.00: 'Los Rít­mi­cos' orches­tra con­cert. fol­lowed by 'Iguana Show' con­cert, both at C/ Gambo,

00.00: '40 Prin­ci­pales' Span­ish Na­tional Ra­dio Sta­tion ses­sion with na­tional DJ Os­car Martínez at the new Town Hall square .

SUN­DAY, NOVEM­BER 11

8.00: Waik­ing-up pa­rade from Casa del Fester through the old town streets. (ev­ery day)

9.30: Hot choco­late of­fered at Casa del Fester.

11.30: Holy mass fol­lowed by the aerial bom­bard­ment, loud fire­works and pa­rade

11.00 to 14.00: Chil­dren's play­ing area at the Town Hall square.

14.00: 'Mas­cleta'- Su­per loud fire­works at Avda jaime I.

17.00: Con­cert by Unión Mu­si­cal de Benidorm' at C/ Gambo.

17.30: Chil­dren's Batukada 'Marakatá Per­cusión' from Casa del Fester.

19.00: Solemn pro­ces­sion from C/ Mayor to Plaza San Jaime.

22.30: Lo­cal artist Guillermo Fluixà and Cristina Verdú 'Live band' play­ing on C/ Gambo.

23.00: 'Se­crets' spec­tac­u­lar orches­tra play­ing at Huerto de Colón.

19.00: BIG FUN pa­rade start­ing from C/ Ruzaza to C/Gambo.

00.00: Night 'Mas­cletá' Loud fire­works at Avda. Jaime I.

00.30: Great DJ ses­sion with DJ 'Dream3team reload' at the town hall square.

WED­NES­DAY, NOVEM­BER 14

11.30: Big fes­teros pa­rade from Avda. Los Al­men­dros to the town hall square.

13.00: Rain­ing can­dies and sweets at the town hall for all chil­dren and chil­dren's 'mas­cleta' loud fire­works at the town hall

18.00: Mul­ti­colour Floats Pa­rade from the Par­que de Elche all the way to Pl de la His­panidad fol­lowed by a won­der­ful fire­work dis­play at the Poniente Beach (port) by Pirotec­nia Ri­casa fire­work com­pany as an end to this year's fiestas. (pic­tured)
