Lesley Davies, Debbie and Steve Saunders did a magnificent job transforming the Jávea Players’ Studio Theatre into a dark den of cobwebs, bats and things that went bump in the night in order to celebrate Halloween. Everyone came dressed to impress, some to kill – literally with meat cleavers in their head.
There were witches with hats trying to outdo each other, one even brought her cat on a broomstick, skeletons, Batman and his lady, Helen Nicholls, [who both manned the bar] and other creepy persona.
There was no contest as to who should win the best-dressed prize: Leigh Patterson (pictured) was resplendent in her outfit.
This is just one of several social events organised by the Players. If you’d like to join in the fun, on, off or behind the stage, please contact us.
