Costa Blanca News (North Edition) - - SOCIAL SCENE - By Jack Troughton

Christmas comes early to the Costa Blanca with a rare opportunity to visit the beautiful grounds of Casa Santonja in Beniarbeig and a two-day festive fair on Saturday and Sunday (November 10 and 11).

The Christmas Fayre raises money for good causes – entry is €1 and the proceeds will be donated to charity Make a Smile; while Help of Denia and the Marina Alta and animal rescue centre Tanamera will also win support.

The event is open from 12.00 to 18.00 on Saturday and between 11.00 and 16.00 on Sunday and there will be more than 60 gift stalls in the grounds and ballrooms of the building.

However, it is also a family event; there will be a family treasure hunt and youngsters can visit Santa Claus in his Grotto and personally deliver that important piece of correspondence, the Christmas wish list.

The fair also features live entertainment throughout, delicious homemade food and some favourite traditional Christmas treats.
