Benissa get more Christmas shoppers
Shops participating in a Christmas draw offer in Benissa gave out over 9,000 tickets during the past few weeks. Entrants had to spend over €50 in stores to gain eligibility, meaning over €450,000 of goods were purchased. Almost 1,000 more tickets were given away during ‘The commerce of Benissa shines at Christmas’ campaign.
The draw, organised by the department of commerce, AFIC-CREAMA and the association of merchants and entrepreneurs of Benissa (ACEB), was held last Friday, 4 January, live on a local radio station. Raúl Martínez, the person in charge of conducting the raffle, telephoned delighted Clara Debreceni, winner of €1,000 in purchases.
Alongside the €1,000, the second prize was €500, followed by five prizes of €100, which were presented to the winners. Accompanied by the board of directors of the ACEB and the head of commerce, Carol Ivars, they met at the Biomercat store, where the largest purchase was made during the campaign.
