Beach business up for grabs
THE CONCESSION to manage the kiosk-beach bar at Playa del Tamarit in Santa Pola for July and August next summer has just been put out to tender by the town hall.
Situated on the beach, level with Calle Misteri d’Elx, the starting price for bids is €1,636.32 per year.
The beach bar has a maximum area of 70 square metres, of which 20m2 will be fixtures and the rest terrace.
It will also have toilets that will be open to the public.
The duration if the contract is 10 years, which will run from the signing of the contract in 2019 until the end of 2028.
Although the period when the business is active is during the high season from July 1 until August 31, these dates could be extended if the concessionary and the town halls reach an agreement. Those interested in making an offer have until January 21 at 14.00 to deliver the required documenfound tation to the town hall.
