Getting closer

THINGS are progressing for the proposed construction of a much-needed new health centre in Benidorm’s Rincon de Loix.

The health department have published the project details and now awaiting tenders for the management of the construction.

The total budget for the new build is estimated at €3,651,069.90 with a four month schedule and will be located on Avenida de Zamora, behind the private IMED hospital.

The 2,656 sq mt build will include a dedicated area for ambulances and facilities for 19 consultations, paediatric area with three consultation rooms, treatment and observation rooms, specialist area for women, maternity unit and facilities and an office for a social worker.
