La Vila rugby determined to fight
The new year for La Vila rugby club has begun with a few changes to the team line-up.
Due to injury Lautaro Álvarez has now been operated on and will be initiating rehabilitation for his ACL (anterior cruciate ligament).
Bush returns to England where he will continue recuperating from his lesion.
Also returning home are Martín Visuara to Argentina and Cameron Hamman to South Africa.
La Vila has decided to strengthen their team with Fernando Díaz and Emanuel Molina for the second round of the ‘Liga Heineken’. The two players have already made their first appearance playing with the team against Complutense Cisneros on La Vila’s home ground and they will also play when they visit San Amaro to play against UBU Colina Clínic.
Hernán Quirelli and his team are determined to fight to to stay in the league and the first match of 2019 is this Sunday, January 13 is at Landare Toki against Hernani Club Rugby Elkartea.
The two teams are equal with 22 points. La Vila is currently in 9th place and Hernani in 10th.
