Successful 2018 for The Original Charity Shop and Library

Once again, The Original Charity Shop and Library, Javea is very pleased to announce that it can look back on a very busy and successful year 2018. Since our move to the new shop on Carrer de Nancy 1 in Javea’s Arenal area, we have been busier than ever, enabling us to make a total of €40,335 in donations to various charities.

Benificiaries: Caritas: €11,100, The Franciscan Refuge for homeless men: €10,700, The Red Cross: €1,600, the Raquel Paya School for special needs children: €3,996, MABS Cancer Care: €4,035, TAPIS Javea: €1,935, Make a Smile: €1,147, the Javea Feral Cats Association: €2,235, Javea Autism Association: €500 and several smaller amounts which were paid out to support various other deserving causes.

The Shop and Library volunteers would like to thank all their loyal clients, customers and sponsors who made it all possible. We wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year and look forward to seeing you again soon in the shop or library.

Looking for a bargain or a good read? The shop has a great selection of winter clothes and also household and electrical items, curtains, bedding, jewellery, tools, bric-a-brac and much more.

Come and browse – you are sure to find a bargain. The library has lots of books for sale, but you can also join the library for only €30 a year.

The shop is situated on Carrer de Nancy 1 and the library in Javea Park. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.
