Cash to help cut unemployment
JÁVEA town hall has hired five new specialist workers to work on employment programmes after receiving a grant from the regional government worth over €94,500.
The civil servants will work on the Emcorp programme, which assists unemployed people aged over 30 and the Emcord scheme which works with long term jobless people.
The subsidy was made available from Valencia’s sustainable economy project. Emcorp will receive nearly €50,000 and the town hall has hired two full-time administrative assistants to work over the next six months in the personnel and urban departments; Emcord received almost €45,000 and will employ two administrative staff and an assistant working in the departments of services, recruitment and culture.
