Teulada-Moraira road expansion plans underway

TEULADA council has acquired the land required to widen the road joining the town to Moraira. It is the first phase of acquisitions which is included in a project carried out in coordination with Alicante provincial council, and cost €44,000.

This is the first phase of the planned road expansion. The project is divided into two sections. The first section stretches from the roundabout at Gabriel Miró square in Teulada to the church of Font Santa, and the second section from the church to the roundabout at Rambla, in the centre of Moraira.

The expansion of the first section will ease traffic flow on the ascent from Moraira because of the creation of a slow vehicle lane. A pavement and cycle lane will also be created.
