Food campaign to supply animal shelter

The department of animal protection in La Nucia are launching an emergency campaign asking for donations of dog and cat food for the council-run animal shelter.

With the extension on the restriction of movement due to the coronavirus, supplies are running low and so the councillor for animal protection, Jessica Gommans is reaching out to residents. Donations can be dropped of at Tot D’Animals, on Avenida Marina Baixa next to Lidl or Maskokotas La Nucia on the CV-70.

Both dry and wet food will be very much appreciated, plus sand or cat litter.
