Diagnosis – theft
A man who was trying to sell a stolen vehicle diagnostic machine worth over €4,000 has been arrested in Alicante city. National Police officers on patrol in the city centre saw the suspect carrying the machine and trying to hide it when he noticed them. He was unable to give them a logical explanation of where he had got it from so the officers located the nearest mechanic’s workshop and asked the owner if he was missing anything. He replied that a vehicle diagnostics machine, which had been connected to a car in the entrance of his workshop, had disappeared. He immediately recognised the device the officers had recovered from the suspect.
