Food campaign for animal shelter

- By Irena Bodnarec

The Department of Animal Protection in La Nucía are launching an emergency campaign asking for donations of dog and cat food for the council run animal shelter.

With the extension on the restriction of movement due to the coronavirus, supplies are running low and so the Councillor for Animal Protection, Jessica Gommans is reaching out to residents.

Donations can be dropped of at Tot D’Animals, on Avenida Marina Baixa 122, next to Lidl or Maskokotas La Nucía on the CV-70 ((Paseo Pla de Garaita Nº8, Carretera Benidorm - La Nucía).

Both dry and wet food will be very much appreciated plus sand or cat litter. These and other items that may be helpful to the shelter will be picked up daily.
