Coining it in
Reigning Wimbledon legend Roger Federer has £23 million worth of sponsorship deals, making him richer than the Queen and reality star Kim Kardashian.
After 23 years with sports brand Nike he has signed a 10-year deal with Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo, but as they do not make trainers he continues wearing his Nike ones.
He has three properties to chose from – a £13.2 million glass mansion on the shore of Lake Zurich plus holiday home in his native Swiss Alps as well as a penthouse in Dubai, also six Mercedes and a private jet to ferry his wife Mirka and his two sets of twins – eight-year-old girls Charlene and Myla and four-year-old boys Leo and Lenny.
Some of his other lucrative sponsorship deals include Mercedes-Benz, worth £38m, Barilla Pasta - £30m, Moet & Chandon champagne at £23m and Lindt chocolate worth £25m.
