Valencia Councillor and PSOE party spokesperson Sandra Gómez needed a second procedure on her right hand to clean the necrotic tissue that had accumulated following the reconstructive surgery she initially required. The Golden Retriever of Gómez was being attacked by two American Staffordshires two weeks ago. She intervened, trying to help her pet, but she ended up being bitten by the aggressors instead. Her wounds required surgery, which she underwent once the inflammatory process had died down. However, as occurs in some cases, the blood flow to her little finger was compromised, and some tissue between the ring and little fingers became necrotic. Late last week she underwent a clean-up procedure and was able to go home that same afternoon, where she finally made a complete recovery.
