Tras diez años de fundada, Agroforestal Habana no solo es la responsable de muchos de los bellos paisajes naturales que encontramos a nuestro paso, sino que también se ha empeñado en retomar las exportaciones de palmeras y otras plantas ornamentales para de ese modo rescatar el nicho que en ese rubro tuvo Cuba en el mercado europeo. Y es que cuenta hoy con las condiciones para nuevamente inundar de verdor cubano numerosos lugares del mundo.

Asimismo esta empresa posee los mayores viveros del país, con extensiones de más de 135 ha, donde se cultivan plantas para disímiles usos: construcción y urbanización en La Habana y en la Zona Especial de Desarrollo Mariel, infraestructura hotelera, ventas internas y la ya mencionada exportación.

Sembrando con amor, respirando vida es el eslogan que acompaña a Agroforestal Habana que ofrece múltiples servicios: producción de semillas forestales, plantas ornamentales, posturas forestales y frutales, así como de productos agropecuarios; construcciones rústicas, jardinería y paisajismo, arreglos florales, carpintería y productos elaborados de la madera o del bambú, ordenación forestal, y administración de áreas protegidas.

Cuban always stuns nature lovers, especially when plentiful trees lord it right in the heart of urban zones, trees teeming with evergreen foliage, flowers of unique beauty and varied colors, together with an endless array of ornamental plants from different classifications: trees, palms, bushes, shrubs and grass.

Following a decade since its foundation, Agroforestal Habana is not only behind many of the lovely natural landscapes we come across everywhere, but it's now also determined to resume the exportation of palm trees and other ornamental plants in an effort to bring back that income niche that Cuba once had in the European market.

At the same time, the company runs the country's largest urban orchards, covering a total surface of more than 135 hectares where plants for different uses are planted: building and urbanization in Havana and the Mariel Special Development Zone, hotels, domestic sales and exports.

“Sowing the seeds of love and breathing life” is the motto behind Agroforestal Habana, a company that delivers a multitude of services: production of forestry seeds, ornamental plants, forestry and fruit tree seedlings, as well as crops. It also deals with rustic constructions, gardening and landscaping, flower arrangements and products made of wood or bamboo, forestry layout and the management of protected areas in the country.
