ON JUNE 26-30, 2018, HOLGUIN WILL HOST THE 2ND INTERNATIONAL MEETING ON ADDICTIVE DISORDER REHABILITATION
Within the framework of the International Day against the Improper Use Drugs, the 2nd International Meeting on Addictive Disorder Rehabilitation will unfold on June 26-30, 2018 at the Cocal-Quinqué International Therapeutic Communities in the province of Holguin, Cuba.
Professionals devoted to the prevention, assistance and rehabilitation of addictive disorders, rehabilitated patients and their families, and travel agents that advocate for healthcare services, could attend this event either on the spot or through pre-event courses and workshops, lectures, work papers, roundtables and posters. Registration fee is 200 CUP and 200CUC for national and international healthcare professionals, respectively, plus 100CUC for family members.
Addiction biochemistry, psychotherapy, family, nursing procedures and addictive disorders, occupational therapy and addictive disorders, sports and addictive disorders, addictions and comorbidity, dental damage and addictions, as well as management of rehabilitation medical services in treating addictive disorders will be the topics for this gathering to broach as an event that seeks to make a contribution to the advance and efficiency of medical services related to this ever-growing problem that pounds society regardless of age groups, race or creed.
Twenty seven years of experience in the scientific and healthcare realm, and more than 5,000 patients from 50 countries who have received medical attention there are tokens of success that back up the 2nd International Meeting on Addictive Disorder Rehabilitation. Its organizing and scientific committees are headed by Dr. Adelmar Agüero Sánchez and PhD. Luis E. Almaguer Mederos, respectively.
The Cocal-Quinqué International Therapeutic Communities, which belong to Comercializadora de Servicios Médicos Cubanos, the Psychiatry and Psychology scientific societies, and the Medical School of Holguin, are also engaged in the planning of this event.
