More Services, More Quality, More Efficiency

NEARLY A QUARTER OF A CENTURY LATER, CADECA SA STRIVES TO DEVELOP CHANNELS AND MEANS OF PAYMENT TO FACILITATE E-COMMERCE, AUTOMATION OF ALL PROCESSES AND GREATER EFFICIENCY IN ITS IMPLEMENTATION

With the motto that reads of “achieving excellence in the services we provide”, CADECA SA will turn 25 years on June 14. Its main mission is to contribute to fulfill the monetary policy and the smooth functioning of the country, for that reason the company is engaged in different processes that will allow to step up the services it delivers to both natural persons and institutions in a bid to clinch quality, upgrade its infrastructure and come up with channels and means of payment that facilitate e-commerce, the automation of all processes and greater efficiency in their implementation.

M.D. Joaquín Alonso Vázquez, president of the financial institution, reveals that they are working intensely on their positioning in the market, which is the reason why they are expected to make a comeback to the country's hotels and create a new trade dress for the CADECA offices across the island nation, especially in Havana.

After adding the collection of taxes for self-employed workers in the city of Holguin to its service portfolio, hinging on the efficient use of software that allows a single transaction with multiple outputs, CADECA plans on extending this function in the remaining municipalities from that eastern province and in Havana, before taking it all the exchange houses around the country in the month of May.

The existence of four multifunction ATMs in Terminal 3 of the José Martí International Airport and two in the Cruise Terminal of the Port of Havana to facilitate the exchange of the U.S. dollar, Canadian dollar and euros into CUC through cash or cards, lay bare how much this financial organization strives to streamline its services. With that view in mind, the company has plans to expand the network of these ATMs to terminals 2 and 3 of the Havana airport.

Alonso Vázquez says that among the new services that CADECA SA will guarantee, the collection of bills (telephone, electricity, gas, water) in cash or through other means of payment is one of the standouts. He adds that CADECA SA will double the number of companies that make their deposits in CUC or CUP to date.
