In the last years SERMES CRO™ have experienced a substantial growth in its activities in clinical research area. While in 2000, its main activity consisted in the Start Up tasks in Clinical Trials for three principal clients, currently the services developed by SERMES CRO™ range from: Design and elaboration of clinical trial protocols Design and programming of paper CRFs and e-CRFs Monitoring of Phase II, III and IV trials and post-authorization studies Data Management of clinical trials Statistics and publications

SERMES CRO™ have been selected as preferred provider by the Center of Biomedical Research in Mental Health (Centro de Investigaciones Biomedical en Red de Salud Mental (CIBERSAM) with the aim to undertake all research activities developed by 25 collaborative groups members of CIBERSAM. Likewise, it participates actively in the work of other collaborative groups such as SOLTI o CIBERER or in research projects of Biomedical Foundations of diverse Madrid-based hospitals.

With the objective of expanding the international client portfolio and providing a solution to local clients who wish to run multinational studies, SERMES CRO™ founds PSN (Pharmaceutical Service Network) with headquarter in US, subsidiaries in Spain, France, UK, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Denmark and also strategic partnerships in other countries. PSN is a global CRO that offers to pharmaceutical, biotechnology companies and independent institutions a flexible, responsive, quality-driven and cost-effective alternative. PSN counts with over 200 qualified professionals with experience in different therapeutic areas in clinical research and has capabilities to manage any clinical development program at multinational level but keeping a close and flexible approach in every project as it would do a local CRO.

SERMES FOUNDATION

The Foundation Sermes for the Clinical Investigation was based on June of 2012 in response to the anxieties of the Director of Sermes Planning to try to alleviate, in the measure of our possibilities, the deficiencies and inequalities with the ones that the people with disability in the labor world are found. We believe firmly, that the formation is a vehicle of independence and development, and a fundamental and inalienable right. Qualifying the people in abilities that permit them to develop a full professional life is something that collaborates in the development of the individual but also in that of the company. Our Mission is to promote the presence of disabled personnel in the labor market through integral formation. As Vision we pursue the integration of disabled people in the labor world through the formation, as well as the promotion of the clinical investigation in those matters that contribute value and innovation to the company.
