SAP and Beso Beach join the Meliá Hotels International family.
The famous Beso Beach Formentera beach club and restaurant—which together with
Bilbao Berría forms the group of top restaurants in Formentera, Bilbao and Barcelona known as Grupo B—has teamed up with the Meliá group, making the new ME Sitges Terramar Beach Club in Sitges (Barcelona) a front-runner in the region.
This new establishment has reclaimed the glamour of the hotel, with its privileged location right on the Paseo Marítimo, turning it into the local leader in innovation and luxury.
Beso Beach was not a random choice. The company operates one of the most glamorous spots in Formentera, and has made it into a meeting place for top athletes, models, businesspeople and Hollywood stars.
The opening of the new ME Sitges Terramar Beach Club was the first step in Beso Beach’s expansion around the world; it recently opened a bar in Tulum, Mexico as well.
Managed by the group since its inception, the hotel’s restaurant combines the culinary tradition of the Basque Country with the brand’s trademark luxury lifestyle.
Its Mediterranean fusion cuisine has touches of Basque flavours that stand out amidst the white sands and crystal clear waters of the Sitges beach.
As explained by Rafael Viar, of Group B: ‘It’s been a year of strong growth for our group, after opening Beso Tulum in December. We’re very pleased to begin 2018 with the opening of this great project in Sitges’.
