celebrates its 15th anniversary

Buenavista Golf celebrates its 15th anniversary at the Meliá Hacienda del Conde hotel in Tenerife.

Buenavista Golf, an 18-hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros in 2003, turned 15 this year. In celebration, the third Seve Ballesteros Memorial Tournament was held from the 11th to the 13th of May, in partnership with the Meliá Hacienda del Conde. This weekend of competition has already become one of the Canary Islands’ major golfing events. Featuring the second Canaries vs. UK Ryder Cup, a Pro-Am and an Amateur tournament, this year ’s event culminated with the customary gala dinner, with performances by international tenor Celso Albelo and soprano Davinia Rodríguez.

Set in an incomparably beautiful environment, the resort is the perfect place for a golfing trip or a wellness retreat, where guests can connect with the local culture and traditions’, noted Juan José Moreno, General Manager of the Meliá Hacienda del Conde hotel.

With this event, the Buenavista Golf course and the Meliá Hacienda del Conde honour Seve Ballesteros’ golfing achievements. As in previous years, €10 of each registration fee was donated to the Seve Ballesteros Foundation.
