Meliá Castilla has been ranked second in Europe in Cvent’s 2019 Top Meeting Hotels list – a ten-step improvement from last year, which has catapulted the hotel to Spain’s top position.
Leaders in event management technology, Cvent based its rankings on an analysis of MICE-related activity at the hotels within its network. In 2018, the MICE sector brought more than 14 billion euros and 42 million overnight stays to the European tourism industry.
In the same year, Meliá Castilla hosted 3,000 events attended by a total of 300,000 people, filling 100,000 room to host 125,000 guests, solidifying its standing as a leader in the MICE sector in Spain – specifically in Madrid
With recent improvements to its cutting-edge auditorium, which can hold more than 500 people, Meliá Castilla continues to highlight its commitment to excellence.
