Mallorca Bulletin
▶ To mark the coronation of King Charles III in style the Mallorca Bulletin will host their event at the Mallorca Country Club in Santa Ponsa on May 6 from 11am. There will be a giant TV which will be set-up in the main area to watch it all. A fun day for the whole family with music by Izzy Newman, an unlimited brunch and a bouncy castle and face painting for children. To end the event we have organised a fun croquet competition to celebrate Mallorca Country Club's close links with the All England Tennis and Croquet Club, commonly known as Wimbledon. The event will last until about 3pm with Izzy Newman singing the national anthem as a tribute to the new monarch and then the loyal toast. Afterwards there will be a croquet competition will be taking place with a gala prize. Price 70 euros and 30 euros for under 12s.
Anglican Church in Palma
▶ St. Philip & St. James Palma on Saturday, May 6 will show the coronation on a big screen at the church from 10.30am and a big street party on the terrace . Suggested donation 10 euros. On Sunday, May 7 a special commemorative service with Holy Communion attended by the British Vice Consul. The church is located on Calle Nuñez de Balboa 6, Son Armadans.
Anglican Church in Puerto Pollensa
▶ St Andrew's church in Puerto Pollensa on Saturday May 6, from 12pm to 3pm you can watch it live on the big screen and tast the “Coronation Quiche” and other light refreshments. There will also be a raffle. Suggested donation 5-10 euros to go towards Leukaemia research and church funds. The church is located on Carrer Mestral, 4 in Puerto Pollensa.
Hotel de Mar, Gran Melia in Illetas
▶ Come celebrate with us the Coronation of King Charles III with a British day at our Hotel, featuring live streaming of the ceremony on Saturday, May 6 from 10.30am. Live streaming from 10.30am to 2.30pm which will also have British inspired Tapas Menu. Live Harp Music from 4pm to 6pm and new afternoon tea by Lluis Perez. Price 65 euros. The hotel is located at Passeig Illetes, 7 in Ses Illetas.
