SOLUCIONES PARA VERIFICAR LA DOCUMENTACIÓN DE VIAJE SOLUTIONS FOR VERIFYING TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
> Las restricciones sanitarias y cambios en las normativas por Covid-19 han aumentado la complejidad de los requisitos sanitarios para viajar. En Iberia ofrecemos tres soluciones para simplificar la experiencia de los viajeros, agilizar los trámites de comprobación de requerimientos sanitarios e incentivar los viajes.
IATA TRAVEL PASS
Es un registro mundial de requisitos sanitarios que permite a los pasajeros almacenar, gestionar y verificar certificados de pruebas Covid-19 y, en el futuro, de vacunación. Además, permite a laboratorios y centros de pruebas colaboradores compartir de forma segura sus certificados. Iberia ha sido la primera aerolínea en utilizarlo en sus rutas entre Europa y América Latina (Madrid-Montevideo). La app se podrá descargar en Google Play y App Store.
SOLUCIÓN INTERNA
El proceso de compra, gestión de reserva y check-in de iberia.com incluye una nueva funcionalidad para comprobar la documentación. Desde el momento de la compra, informamos de los requisitos y documentación exigidos, que se pueden adjuntar a para su posterior verificación por parte de Iberia –PCR negativa, seguro médico, formulario de salud y cualquier documentación exigida para entrar al país–. En el aeropuerto el cliente puede ir directo a la puerta de embarque, sin presentar esa documentación en ningún punto, pues ya ha sido verificada por la compañía.
VERIFLY
Esta intuitiva app facilita la planificación de los vuelos a Estados Unidos. Hay que descargar la app en iOs o Android, registrarse y añadir una foto; seleccionar destino y vuelo; cargar los resultados de la prueba Covid-19 y firmar la declaración jurada de todas las personas que viajan en la misma reserva. La app confirma si todo está correcto o falta algo para que el cliente pueda aportarlo antes de volar. Su uso es opcional, como el de las otras app que está lanzando Iberia. IATA TRAVEL PASS
This is a global record of health requirements that allows passengers to store, manage and verify their Covid certificates and, following on, also verify that they’ve been vaccinated. It allows collaborating laboratories and testing centres to securely share all the certificates. Iberia was the first airline to use it on its routes between Europe and Latin America (Madrid-Montevideo). This app will be available on Google Play and the App Store soon.
INTERNAL SOLUTION
Iberia has added a new feature to its purchase and check-in services that allows us to check that the documentation provided is correct. When the booking is made, we inform the customer of the requirements and documentation required for their trip, such as a negative PCR test, health insurance, health form and any other documents required by the country’s entry regulations, such as visas. These can be attached so that Iberia can then verify them. Once at the airport, the customer can head directly to the boarding gate, without needing to show any of their documentation again.
VERIFLY
This highly intuitive app makes it easier to plan flights to the US. Simply download the app (available for iOS and Android), register your account and add a photo, select the destination and flight, upload the results of the Covid-19 test and sign a sworn statement for all those travelling on the same booking. The app will inform you if something is missing so that you can provide it before flying. Using this app is optional, as are all the apps of this type that Iberia is releasing. You can continue to carry the documentation needed on paper or in a digital format and show it during check-in.
