ST SEBASTIAN'S ON TOP AT BALAPITIYA

St. Sebastian's College Moratuwa came out on top at the end of the first day’s play against Revatha MMV Balapitiya in their Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter played at Balaptiya. St. Sebastian's taking first lease of the wicket made a modest 204 and then bundled out the home team for a meager 59. Revatha MMV made to follow on with a deficit of 145 runs ended the day making 70 for 3 needing another 75 runs to avoid an innings defeat. The match will be continued at 9.45 a.m. today.

Dharmasoka MV Ambalangod­a dominated the opening day’s play in their Under 19 interschoo­l cricket match against St. Servatius Matara played at the Ambalangod­a Esplanade.
