NTB launches ‘Nations Green Lease’

Nations Leasing the leasing arm of Nations Trust Bank recently announced the launch of Nations Green Lease – a comprehensive leasing solution for Hybrid vehicles. Notably, the bank has pledged to plant 100 trees for every Green Lease taken from Nations Leasing.

Nations Leasing, having understood the customer’s mindset with regard hybrid vehicles has offered a combination of flexible and cost effective lease rentals, extended warranty and an insurance package designed especially for hybrid vehicles

To this end, Nations Trust Bank tied up with Indra Traders to offer an exclusive two year warrantee on the Hybrid system of cars leased through Nations Leasing. Commenting on this new tie up CEO of Nations Trust Bank, Saliya Rajakaruna said “We are delighted to have Indra Traders on board to help strengthen our proposition with the launch of Nations Green Lease”.

Meanwhile Rushanka Silva, Managing Director of Indra Traders stated: “We have been committed to encouraging the use of more eco friendly vehicles and are glad that this tie up with Nations Trust Bank will encourage more Sri Lankans to pollute less of our environment”.

As part of the total Nations Green Lease package, Nations Leasing also made a strategic partnership with Asian Alliance Insurance to offer a special insurance package for all its Nations Green Lease customers - an unlimited cover on the car battery. This unique insurance package offers an unending cover on the battery; a unique offer in the industry.

Ramal Jasinghe, Director/ceo of Asian Alliance Insurance PLC commented stating, “This strategic tie-up will no doubt add value to the customers who are passionate about hybrid vehicles whilst being conscious on protecting the environment. Furthermore, customers no longer need to present guarantors and all documentation charges will be waived in order to streamline the process of obtaining a Green Lease Nations Leasing has pledged to plant up to 50,000 trees with this initiative.
