S de S. Jayasinghe record seventh win

An all round performanc­e by Hashan Hewanayake helped S de S. Jayasinghe MMV Dehiwala record a nine wicket win over President’s College Kotte in their Under 19 encounter concluded at Dehiwala yesterday.

The win also saw his side chalking up a seventh outright win for the season. Hashan who made a knock of 96 went on to end up with an impressive return of 11 for 156 which incidental­ly was his fifth match bag of over ten wickets and has already reached the 100 wicket milestone this season.
