PIMAL the versatile musician hails from Moratuwa and has with him 27 years of experience as a professional musician.

Coming from a musical family, his father was a top class Violinist and his mother a Church Organist. As a six year old youngster, Pimal studied music but ended up becoming his own teacher, gathering knowledge as a performer gifted with a sharp musical ear.

Pimal is a rare personality who does not depend on programming and gadgetry when it comes to performing, except for current modern, techno and fusion music. He is a self-inspired and self made musician, and firmly believes that his talent is a gift from the Almighty God. Pimal regularly performs at various Christian Organizations, Churches and often performs at his Church, Methodist Church – Moratumulla.
