Construction of Citrus Leisure Waskaduwa begins
Hot on the heels of the opening of Citrus Hikkaduwa, a 93-room luxury resort, Citrus Leisure PLC yesterday laid the foundation stone for Citrus Waskaduwa, a 150-room five-star luxury resort that is expected to be open towards the end of 2012.
The foundation stone was ceremonially laid by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, at a ceremony which also saw the participation of special invitees, the director board of Citrus Leisure as well as other government officials.
