MARKSS opens second Kandy distribution hub
MARKSS Healthcare (MARKSS HLC), one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in Sri Lanka, opened its second distribution hub in Kandy recently, establishing an islandwide re g i o nal d i s t r i but i o n a nd warehousi ng c o mplex fo r their pharmaceutical, neutraceutical items, medical equipment and devices.
The new distribution and warehousing complex was inaugurated under the patronage of Sarath Ekanayake, Chief Minister Central Province. The company plans to introduce a number of regional distribution centres throughout the country further strengthening its distribution channels and links with its customers directly.
The Chief Guest, Sarath Ekanayake, Chief Minister Central Province addressing the gathering said, “At present, we are on a mission i n devel opi ng t he Central Province to attain the number one provincial council status in Sri Lanka. The re gional centres are designed to ensure many elements of supply chain to the customer.
