JWT team to undergo overseas training

JWT Sri Lanka will be starting their employee-training calendar for 2012 on a high note by organising an overseas training programme for the entire office from February 3 to 7, 2012. Each and every staff member irrespective of his/her management level will attend this five-day workshop at the Golden Triangle in India. During this tour, the team will travel to the cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

“Just like the country itself, JWT Sri Lanka today stands at a huge cross-section of opportunities - across clients, product categories and communication disciplines. With a legacy of many firsts behind us, interactions such as these are powerful mechanisms to unleash fresh streams of innovations and breakthroughs. We are looking forward to this session, which would not just rejuvenate our teams but also help us to intensively collaborate and co-create the future pathways for our clients and brands,” JWT Sri Lanka President Himanshu Saxena said.

He further added, “This initiative comes as part of our longstanding history of making consistent efforts to invest in our people. The annual training investment per employee made by JWT Sri Lanka is arguably the best in the industry. And this is just one of

the things, Ralston would be invested with during the year.” Remarkably, employee’s families play an integral role in our work lives and indirectly contribute immensely to an organisation’s success. Yet, very few companies take note of this f act. Working late evenings and weekends occurs on a regular basis in the advertising industry with tight deadlines. Hence, JWT recognized the importance of opening the off-site retreat to e mployee’s families as well. Whilst the workshop will be limited to a couple of days, employees and their families are free to explore India during the rest of the days at leisure.
