Bloomfield romp to easy win

Bloomfield recorded their third outright win of the Premier Tier ‘A’ cricket tournament with a comfortabl­e seven wicket win over Badureliya CC in the match concluded at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Badureilya resuming from their overnight score of 60 for 1 put in some resistance through Hans Fernando and Sahan Wijeratne to reach 379.

However Bloomfield reached the target of 93 runs in just 12 overs.
