-

With years of recognized and renowned expertise in new world cuisine, Raffles teams up with the newly refurbished Café Che to open its doors to the daring food enthusiasts of Colombo. It was reopened last Friday after renovations under the new management. This retro Cuban-themed restaurant offers food patrons a vivacious ambiance, holding true to the revolutionist the restaurant pays homage to; interiors tastefully adorned with Che Guevara memorabilia. The Café’s reopening marks the latest food revolution to hit the town, with a range of eclectic dishes on offer for those who savor the challenge of experiencing the vibrant Cuban flair.

Located down Gandhara Street, Colombo’s trendiest art and shopping avenue, Café Che will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 11 am to 12 midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Apart from the café’s trademark Cuban/fusion inspired A la carte menu, patrons are also given the choice of an executive lunch menu as well as take-away options for a range of main dishes. Hot coffee and fresh fruit juices will also be on offer.

Scrumptious cakes straight out of the oven may also be purchased to celebrate a special occasion. The reconstructed premises also offer a lounge area as well as Satellite TV and free Wi-fi connectivity.
