Police spokesman Ajith Rohana said that the suspects were taken into custody following a special strategy.

“The police used a spe- cial strategy to track down the suspects and we were able to successfully rescue the abducted youth and arrest the four suspects who were involved in the crime,” he said.

The youth was abducted on Thursday when he had come to inquire about the identities of the suspects on behalf of his father, as the main suspect had given a call to the businessman without revealing his identity. He had therefore sent his son to see who they were as the vehicle the suspects came in was parked in front of his house, the police said.
