Student injured in clash

One student was injured during a clash between two student factions which took place in front of the Karapitiya Medical Faculty.

Five students were taken into custody by the Poddala Police in connection with the incident.

According to the police the brawl took place during an argument over a long- standing personal dispute. The suspects are to be produced before the Galle Magistrate.
