The rule of law in the country has collapsed due to the shortsighted policies of the government that created a corrupt society where murder, robbery and rape were the order of the day, Deputy Leader of the UNP, Hambantota District Parliamentarian Sajith Premadasa said.

Payagala St.joseph Church is the 249th Christian church that received funds under the programme. An opposition political party in Parliament had never launched a social service programme of this nature in the political history of the country. It is sad that political murders, extortion, robberies, rape and drug trafficking are going on unchecked in the so called ‘Miracle of Asia.’
