George Caius Kumaraperuma A wonderful husband and an admirable father

- - Loving wife Len, sons & daughters and son-in-law and your grandchildren.

As the first 365 days approach after you left us, we at home feel that you truly are with our creator and lord.

To us you were the rock that never swayed, you were the tree that we sought shelter in time of strife. Many have been the instances where you shed your little luxuries so that we at home could have the best.

You truly were someone that not only your brood of 4 but all your nephews and nieces looked upon almost making us sometimes jealous, but you gave with no boundaries and no expectations.

We are yet to acquire your greatest strength of never ever giving up! You, even stood tall in your quest and reached it in spite of a million and one obstacles.

You never did shy away in punishing us if ever we found to be heading in the wrong direction, for which we are truly ever grateful and thankful that we had a father who truly loved his wife and 4 children

We recall how you devoted your time towards the church and the role you played in making Fatima Church Battaramulla into a Parish in the mid 1980s. The faith you so dutifully instilled in us has been such a source of strength in many trying times that we as a family had to undergo.

We missed your direction and advice during the last 10 years of your life with us, how we missed your farsighted thinking and guidance. Seeing you fading away was probably the hardest for Ammi and us and what made it worse was that there was very little that we could do other than take care of you just like how you took care of the 5 of us when you were able and healthy.

Ammi did her duties towards you as the dutiful wife even at the expense of her own health which speaks volumes of your qualities as a husband. Many were the times that we lost our patience and cool whilst looking after you, but if we had to do it all over again we surely would do it without batting an eyelid. You were the doting grandfather for your 4 grandchildren, you always managed to find the time to play with them and be the typical grandfather who would let their grandchildren do whatever they wanted. They too in return adored you and truly loved you.

We only wish and pray that you have found your resting place because you truly deserve the rich reward of heaven for you truly were a man of god! Darling Thaththa Thank you for loving and sharing, For giving and for caring, God bless you and keep you, Until we meet again.
