Court ruling is delivered on the petition filed in this regard by some parents. We believe that it will be delivered before the end of June,” Dr. Navaratne said.
He added that if the district and national rankings of the students were released before releasing the results of the rescutiny, it will affect the overall results and therefore the ministry has also suspended the issuance of rankings.
The controversy that shocked the national education originated after the examination department issued incorrect Z score and district national rankings on students who passed the GCE A/L examination in August 2011.
