Worker killed in Demodera Estate
A labourer at a work site in Wewelhinna in Demodara Estate died and another was seriously injured when they were buried under a mound of earth that came down a slope near the site. They were digging up earth to repair a road in the estate when they met with the accident.

the two men to the Badulla General Hospital where Nadarajah was found to be dead.
