THE LEGACY OF SANTINIKETAN TRIBUTE TO TAGORE ON HIS BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

In a rare gesture, famous Sri Lankan dancer and choreographer Chandana Wickramasinghe, who had l earnt Kathakali and Manipuri dances at Santiniketan, gave a short performance at an event organized by the Indian Cultural Centre on at the auditorium of the Buddhist Cultural Centre, Colombo to pay homage to Noble Laureate Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of commemoration of his 151st birth anniversary.
