Chandika the Busy star Works in seven projects concurrently

Popular actor Chandika Nanayakkara who has won the most popular actor award during the past two years, is now busy working concurrently on seven projects including six tele dramas and one film. He works in Shantha Soysa’s ‘Ama’ which is now being telecast on ITN at 7.30 pm on weekdays. He plays a retired Brigadier in the story.

Chandika shoots for Kumarasiri Abeykoon’s ‘Sanda Hiru Tharu’ which is being telecast on Sirasa TV at 7.30 pm every Saturday and Sunday.

He is also working on two projects being telecast on Hiru TV. One is ‘Wisula Ahasa Yata’ directed by Kelum Palitha Mahiratne and the other ‘Sihinayakai Jeewithe’ by Tissa Wijekoon.

In addition he works on two tele drama projects that are being shot in Bandaragama and Kandy. In Bandaragama he is part of the cast of ‘Thune Kelesiya’ based on a story by Daya Rajapaksa. It’s being directed by Piyal Yatawara.

He also plays a key role in Devinda Kongahage’s film ‘Bawa Tharana’ and tele drama ‘Bawa Sarana’ which are being shot simultaneously in Kandy.
