KRISHAN AND THENUKA WRECK CHILAW MARIANS

The right arm pace and left arm spin combinatio­n of Krishan Dinidu and Thenuka Dananjaya wrecked the batting of Chilaw Marians helping Leo CC dominate the first day’s play in their Under 23 inter-club cricket encounter played at the Panadura Esplanade.

Leo CC in their turn was helped by an unbeaten knock of 45 by Janishka Premasingh­e which saw them end the day making 126 for 4. The match will be continued today.
