Carey recorded a shocking 11 runs win over fancied St. Joseph’s in their Under 17 Division One second round encounter played at Darley Road. The low scoring match saw Carey taking first lease being able to muster only 130 but struck back to restrict the strong St Joseph’s batting to score of 119.

St. Servatius Matara stunned Prince of Wales when they defeated them by three runs in a thrilling second round match of the Under 17 Division One cricket tournament played at Moratuwa.

This was also another low scoring game with St. Servatius after being bundled out for 110 came back to dismiss the Cambrians for a score of 107 with Sanjika Ridma who ended with impressive figures of 5 for 13 doing the damage.
