Inverter air conditioners feature the revolutionary technology which uses a variable frequency drive to control compressor function. This technology eliminates the need for a stop-start cycle to regulate cooling, using up to 40% less electricity and extending the life of the A/C’s components, thereby minimising break- downs. Inverter A/Cs are also considerably quieter than normal A/Cs and more consistently maintain the desired temperature thanks to a special microcontroller which samples the ambient air temperature and adjusts the speed of the compressor accordingly.
