MTI completes Pakistan’s export strategy assignment

The Government of Pakistan, through it Trade Developmen­t Authority (TDAP) has concluded a major project aimed at mapping Pakistan’s National Export Strategy. MTI Consulting, which won a highly competitiv­e internatio­nal pitch, was responsibl­e for conceptual­izing, research, advising and coaching the Trade Developmen­t Authority of Pakistan.

Over a period of 4 years, MTI has an internatio­nal team of Consultant­s and Analysts based in Karachi, personally spearheade­d by MTI CEO Hilmy Cader and Regional Consultant Yusuf Isaam.

The project studied the entire length of Pakistan’s export value chain; from the needs and of smallholde­r exporters in rural provinces to the approach to branding Pakistan as a country in the global marketplac­e.

MTI’s 6C organizati­on strategy model was launched with this project and analyzed and strategize­d the areas of Cause (Strategy), Configurat­ion (Organizati­onal Structure), Core Processes, Controls (includ- ing KPIs), Competenci­es (Job focus and roles) and Considerit-done (Implementa­tion Impact Management).

The multi-year project adopted a bias for highly-involved, with the senior management teams of the TDAP contributi­ng through a series of consulting workshops and assignment­s.
